Hiring for Lifeguard Position
National Dragonboat Club is currently recruiting for a staff/lifeguard position to work with our existing lifeguard crew on the watercourse at Sunnyside. Duties will include; maintaining a safe paddling environment for all participants, keeping accurate records of practices logged, providing information on the club to participants and passers-by, towing boats to/from docks to moorings, and much, much more. Many opportunities for skills growth and flexible hours.
NATIONAL DRAGONBOAT CLUB is a Toronto-based, local non-profit organization working to promote the sport of Dragonboat at all levels in Toronto and throughout the world. This is a full time position beginning as early as April 15. Position ends on or around labour day depending on candidate’s availability. Weeknight evening hours will be approximately between 3-10PM, weekends 7AM-2PM.
In order to be considered you must have of be willing to obtain;
- NLS (mandatory)
- First Aid- CPR C (mandatory)
- Pleasure Craft Operators Card (assistance provided)
- Toronto Harbour License (assistance provided)
- VHF Radio license (assistance provided)
